Cat is a dedicated and passionate drummer and educator who takes pride in delivering quality drum-kit, snare drum and percussion tuition to students of all ages.

Students will explore and develop the following skill-sets as part of a personalised learning programme:

  • hand & foot technique

  • rudiments

  • rhythm & feel

  • counting & time

  • reading & theory of music

  • creativity & musicianship

  • practice & performance discipline

  • goal-setting

PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
A number of Cat's students perform regularly in rock & jazz bands, pipe bands, concert bands and orchestras.

EXAMS
Each year, Cat's students have the opportunity to sit Trinity College drum-kit exams. These exams are an excellent option for goal-oriented students and they also provide a great practice incentive and performance opportunity for developing musicians who are not yet performing with a band or ensemble.
